Obituary for Doris Tellier

Doris M. Tellier Of Salem, New Hampshire, and most recently, Dover, New Hampshire: Doris M. Tellier, 86, died suddenly on 25, September 2018 at her home at Maple Suites after a lengthy battle with heart disease. She was born on December 10, 1931 in Lawrence, Massachusetts; the daughter of Donat Letourneau and Mattie Madore Letourneau. Doris greatly adored her family, especially the youngest members, Will, John John and Emma. Before her eyesight became an issue, she enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting along with gardening and reading, particularly a good romance novel! She recently received a Kindle for Mother’s Day and rediscovered reading with avid delight. Doris is survived by her; daughters Linda M. Moore and her husband Wayne A. Moore of Windham, NH; Carol A. Irving and her husband William A. Irving of Rollinsford, NH. Her sons Raymond E. Tellier Jr. and his wife Shannon M. Tellier of Exeter, NH and William D. Tellier of Northwood, NH. She had 5 grandchildren; Wayne A. Moore Jr. of Derry, NH; Alison I. Glover of Boston, MA; Andrew W. Irving of Rochester, NH; Jeffrey R. Moore of Windham, NH; Amanda M. Tellier of Durham, NH. Doris also had 3 great grandchildren; William Alan Moore, John William Glover and Emma Ruby Irving. She is also survived by her brother Richard Letourneau of Haverhill and sister Theresa Levasseur of Haverhill, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her infant daughter Dawna Joy Tellier, her husband Raymond E. Tellier, her sister Ann Rossignol and brother Rene Letourneau. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Doris’s name to American Heart Association or the charity of your choice. A graveside committal service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Pine Grove Cemetery, 329 Main St, Salem, NH with Deacon David Costello officiating from St. Joseph’s Church. Burial will be immediately following. Open house will follow the service at the home of Linda and Wayne Moore, 131 Castle Hill Rd., Windham NH.
