Obituary for Donald MacGregor Mr.

Dover, NH — Donald MacGregor, 76, of Watson Road, passed away suddenly on April 20th, 2012. Don was born on May 27th, 1935, in Darnley, PEI, Canada; the son of Joseph and Jean (Bernard) MacGregor. Donald worked for Dreher Holloway dealership as auto technician for 53 years until retiring just a few years ago. Donald loved his NASCAR and never missed a race, if he wasn’t at the races, he was watching it on TV or he was listening to it on satellite radio. Don enjoyed carpentry and just tinkering around the yard, tinkering on his tractor, his snowmobiles or anything with an engine. Don was well known for his snowmobile trail riding, trail grooming and a great conversation. Donald is survived by his family to include his wife, Frances MacGregor; his brother, Wayne MacGregor of Little Rock California; his sister, Shirley Cousin of Kensington, PEI, Canada; Brother-in-law, Wilbur Drew and his wife Shirley of Dover, NH; his Sister-in-law, Muriel Sullivan and her partner Charles of Dover, N.H. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Family flowers only, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Don’s name to as charity of one’s choice. Family and friends are invited to a graveside service in Don's memory on Wednesday, April 25, 2012, at 10:15 am at the Pine Hill Cemetery in Dover, NH with Rev. Jack Lynes, officiating. Family and friends are also invited for a gathering at Scott and Wendy Drew’s house at 276 Tolend Rd Dover, NH, after the service to celebrate Donald’s life and memories.
