Obituary for Deborah Louise Dutton (Duncan)

Deborah L. Dutton

Barrington, NH: Deborah L. Dutton, 73, died on October 20, 2022, at home after a lengthy battle
with cancer.

She was born on March 23, 1949, in Portland, ME; the daughter of Robert E. and Elizabeth Wight
Duncan and, for the most part, grew up in South Berwick, ME.

Debbie graduated from Marshwood High School in South Berwick, ME. For many years, she
managed office operations in the small business she and her husband owned. After that, she
became a cosmetologist and worked in area salons such as J.C. Penny and Hair Excitement.
Debbie then went back to school, attained a degree in Medical Assisting, and became a Certified
Medical Assistant. She worked for several years at Goodwin Community Health in Somersworth.

At different times throughout her life, Debbie enjoyed activities such as couples-league bowling
at Bowlaway Lanes in Rochester, cross-country ski outings, horseback riding, creating beautiful
floral wreaths to share, and many years of camping, starting in a tent and progressing through
various campers. In recent years she and her husband have happily headed south to spend warmer
winters in their RV.

Debbie is survived by her spouse of 54 years, Peter; also, her sister Jennifer Boston, daughters
Stacie Collucci and Kristine Philbrick, all of Rochester, NH. She has six grandchildren and six
great grandchildren and many friends here in the area, as well as those from several other states,
whom she and Peter have met while enjoying their RV travels.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 21, 2022. A visitation period will begin
at 3:00 pm with the service starting at 4:00 pm. Rev. Donna Lee Muise will officiate. Refreshments will
follow. It will take place at Purdy Memorial Chapel at 2 Concord Road (Rt. 4), Lee, NH.
