Obituary for Cynthia F Rourke (McLean)
Cynthia Fern Rourke, 68 of Barrington NH passed away peacefully on August 25th, 2021 surrounded by her family.
Born April 17th, 1953 in Lynn Massachusetts to the late George and Elizabeth McLean.
She graduated from Lynn English High School class of 1971 before moving to New Hampshire to raise her three children.
Cindy was quick witted with a great sense of humor. She enjoyed doing a variety of arts and loved helping to raise her grandson, Brian.
She especially enjoyed the time she spent with her beloved dog Moosie.
Cynthia is survived by her three children Laurie Rourke of Portsmouth NH, Michael Rourke of Barrington NH, Erica Rourke of Barrington NH and grandson Brian Rourke of Barrington NH; Sisters Mary Ann McCabe of Andover MA, Hazel Marshall and Husband Steve of North Hampton NH and brother-in-law Ed Murray of Rochester NH, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by husband Michael Rourke and Sister Diane Murray.
Friends and family may call on Monday, August 30, 2021, from 4:00-6:00 PM at Purdy Memorial Chapel, 2 Concord Rd., Rt4, Lee, NH, 03861.
The family will hold a private service and burial at their convenience.
