Obituary for Clifford L. Capen Jr. Mr.

Rochester: Clifford L. Capen, Jr., 66, of Rochester, NH, died February 18, 2012 in Rochester, NH. He was born February 3, 1946 in Dover, NH; the son of Clifford L. Capen, Sr. and Pauline (Christian) Capen. Cliff attended school in Dover to complete his education. He joined his father as a partner, and they successfully spent twenty years running an auto body repair business. Cliff was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving with the United States Marine Corps and was awarded two Purple Hearts. He was an avid hunter and fisherman; who enjoyed the Great Outdoors. Cliff is survived by four children, Brian, Wanda, Karen and Tonya. He leaves twelve grandchildren and one great grandchild. For the last fifteen years, Cliff was very fortunate to have a significant other, Victoria Chase of Rochester, NH. She loved him and he was devoted to her. She remained by his side in good time and remained nursing him till the end. Other members of his family include, four sisters, Rose, Carol, Judith and Vicky; three brothers, Paul (pre-deceased), Ralph, and Roy Allen. His extended family includes, two brother-in-laws, Edmond Malloy and Richard Souza; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends and family may call from 11:00am-1:00pm, Wed. Feb. 22, 2012 at Wiggin-Purdy-McCooey-Dion Funeral Home, 655 Central Ave., Dover, NH with a funeral service to follow at 1:00pm.
