Obituary for Charles Edward Dunbar

Charles E. Dunbar was born December 15, 1934, Graduated from Concord High School 1954, Education: Vesper George School of Art, Boston. Joined the US Navy 1954-1958. Worked at Boston Decorators building and then opened Dunbar Interiors in 1964. Retired in 1995. Lived in Concord until retirement to Northwood, NH. Charles married Brenda (King) Dunbar on October 5, 1953. They had two children, Keith E. Dunbar and Kevin C. Dunbar. Predeceased by his Father, Howard C. Dunbar; His Mother, Ruth (Chase) Dunbar and his Sister Claire Piper.
He liked traveling with his wife in the motor home, boating on Jenness Pond, riding his snowmachine, and displaying his model railroad. He liked visiting family, friends, and church members. He was a member of the United Baptist Church of Concord until joining Northwood Congregational Church in 2002. A proud member of Demolay and Masons (Blue Lodge) and continued with Scottish Rite for over 50 years. He hopes to be remembered as a good Brother Mason, a fair businessman and a kind family man.
