Obituary for Charles Bailey
DOVER: Charles A. “Skip” Bailey, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2023 with his wife, daughter, and granddaughter by his side at Hyder Hospice House in Dover, NH. He was born on December 7, 1943 in Lynn, Massachusetts.
Skip joined the Navy after 11th grade. He was stationed on an aircraft carrier in the Gulf of Mexico during the Cuban Missile Crisis.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Bailey, daughter and son-in-law, Dawn & Dave Atkinson; son Michael Splaine and granddaughter, Jessica Atkinson.
He was predeceased by his brother, John Bailey of Michigan, his daughter, Bonnie-Anne Cooper of Massachusetts and his grandson, Jacob Atkinson of Massachusetts.
A memorial service will be held at Dover Baptist Church at 2:00pm on August 19, 2023 with Pastor Kenneth Monahan, officiating.
