Obituary for Bryon Lee Hedley
Bryon Lee Hedley, 65, of Nottingham, N.H. passed away peacefully at his home on the morning of Tuesday, September 12, 2023.
Bryon was born March 7, 1958, in Caro, Michigan to Glen Hedley and Evelyn Hack, raised by the late Bernice and Donald Hedley. He married Sheila May in 1984.
Bryon had a passion for gardening, fishing with his sons, and snowmobiling. He was a self-taught builder and was an avid sports fan. However, his favorite activity was his love of spending time with his family. Bryon worked as a welder/pipe fitter for Local 537 in Boston MA, he has been a welder for over 40 years.
Bryon is survived by his wife, Sheila (May) Hedley, whom they shared 38 wonderful years of marriage. Children; Samuel Shaw of Newmarket, NH, and Nathan Hedley of Exeter, NH, grandchildren; Iris and Cassidy Shaw, brother; Kim Hedley and his wife, Kim, brother; Barry Hedley and his wife, Sally, sister; Suzanne Kohl and her husband, Larry, sister-in-law; Aprell Twombly and her husband, Gary Sr. of Newburyport, MA, sister-in-law; Diann May of Newburyport, MA, niece; Tracy Twombly and her husband, Walter, nephew; Gary Twombly Jr., great nephew; Harrison Twombly, and many cousins.
Bryon is preceded in death by Bernice and Donald Hedley, father; Glen Hedley, father-in-law; Samuel May and his wife, Enis, and many aunts and uncles.
A celebration of life will take place, Saturday, September 23, 2023, at Purdy Memorial Chapel, location: 2 Concord Road, Lee, N.H., 03861. Greetings will be 10:00-11:00 A.M., followed by a service and prayer. Reception will include food and coffee which will be available after the service.
