Obituary for Brenda Joyce Cloutier (Merrill)
Brenda Joyce Cloutier (Merrill) 3.30.42 – 10.21.2022
Brenda 80, passed away peacefully at home on October 21, 2022, with loving family at her side. She was born on March 30, 1942, in Skowhegan Maine to Keith and Ruby Merrill (Clowater). As a teenager Brenda worked at the Bowl-O-Rama in Portsmouth where she met the love of her life (after Elvis) Marc E. Cloutier. They married in 1961 and remained together until Marc’s death in 2018. Brenda is survived by her children, Michele Cloutier (Martha Chase), Paul (Wendy) Cloutier, Jennifer Cloutier and her “adopted” son Michael McQuade, her sister Judith Lark (Kenneth Lapierre) her cherished grandchildren Bryce Sevey (Michael), Logan Cloutier, Tia Cloutier (Robbie Morreau) and Rheis Cloutier. Brenda also leaves her adored great grandsons, Remi Cloutier and Garrett Sevey and was eagerly awaiting the arrival of her great granddaughter. Brenda was predeceased by her devoted husband Marc, her parents, and her brother John Merrill.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Wentworth Home in Dover for the excellent care and love shown to Brenda and the entire family during her time there.
A wake will be held at Wiggins, Purdy, McCooey, Dion Funeral Home, 655 Central Ave., Dover NH on Saturday, November 5, 2022, from 11 am to 1 pm. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to the Wentworth Home in Dover NH in Brenda’s memory.
