Barbara T. Proof, 94 of 26 Brownstone Lane, Rochester, NH died May 20, 2018 at her daughter Barbara Jean Proof’s home. Born September 3, 1923 in Boston, Mass daughter of Clarence and Dorothy (Gillis) Timmons, she has lived in Dover, South Berwick, ME, Somersworth and Rochester, NH. Mrs. Proof together with her husband Howard owned and operation of White Mountain Fence Co in Somersworth, NH. She was a member of the Dover Baptist Church in Dover, NH. She was predeceased by her husband Howard of 34 years in 1979, twin sister Bernice Oliver, Robert Timmons, Joanne Hamilton, Albert Timmons, Beverly Timmons, Jean Therrien, Richard Timmons and Frederick Timmons. Barbara was taken care of by her daughter Barbara Jean Proof for over 8 years. She is survived by her daughter Barbara Jean Proof of Rochester, son Carroll (Joey) Proof of Southwest Ranches, FL, his twin sister Mrs. Randall Brunner (Carolyn) of Red Hill, PA, son Gary L Proof and his wife Carol of Mineral City, Ohio, daughter Christine Santerre of Lempster, NH; twenty Grandchildren, twenty-eight Great Grandchildren, three Great-Great Grandchildren, sister-in-law Mary Timmons of Gonic, NH, sister-in-law Mary Timmons of Schertz, TX, brother-in-law Carl Therrien and several nieces and: nephews. Service A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday June 2, 2018 at the Dover Baptist Church in Dover, N.H. at 2 pm; With a time of gathering to share memories and refreshments after the service. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer/Dementia in her honor are welcome.
