Obituary for Ann Louise Clark (Avery)

West Nottingham, Ann Louise Avery Clark, 75, passed away on Tuesday, November 7th, 2023. She was born on January 1st, 1948, in St. Petersburg, Florida; the daughter of Marion Cilley Baker Avery and Elwin Wesley Avery.
Ann grew up in East Kingston, New Hampshire and graduated from Exeter High School.
After graduation, she met the love of her life, Herbert Arthur Clark and together they raised two sons. They resided in both New Hampshire and Alaska. In addition to being a Mom, Ann held several different jobs over the years, including veterinary technician and bookkeeper. She retired as a licensed nursing assistant and found great joy in caring for her patients.
Ann’s faith was her guiding light and she attended New Life Church in Raymond for years; following them online after becoming unable to attend in person. She loved Christian music, both traditional hymns and contemporary songs. Speaking of music, Ann was a lifelong pianist and organist and played the organ in her church in Anchorage.
Ann loved her grandchildren and spending time with them. She loved animals, especially her beloved Koko the Doberman, who was by her side until the very end. Her other interests included making braided rugs, quilting, cribbage, reading and jigsaw puzzles.
Ann is survived by her sons, Clinton Marshall Clark of Northwood and Robert Arthur Clark of Raymond and their wives, both Elizabeth Anne which she always found amusing. She also leaves nine grandchildren, Kiersten, Dylan, Shania, Matthew, Ciera, Bailey Jon, Bailey Anne, Evan and Brandon, and great-grandson Simon.
She was predeceased by her parents and Herb and also her twin brother Philip George Avery.
A private Celebration of Life will be held at the Clark Residence on Saturday, November 18th at 1pm. She will be interned along with her beloved Herbie at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, New Hampshire at the convenience of the family.
