Obituary for Agnes Dares Mrs.

REVERE, MA: Agnes V. Dares 92, lfelong resident of Revere and a member of the Ladies' Auxilary of VFW Post #6712 of Beachmont, died on Saturday, June 23rd, at the Lighthouse Nursing Care Center of Revere, following a short illness. Born in Worcester, MA, she lived most of her life in Beachmont, Revere. During her working career, she worked for the former Chelsea Naval Hospital, Chelsea, TRANSITRON of East Boston & Hub-Mail of Boston. She is the devoted mother of Verna B. Bartlett & her late husband, Benjamin T. Bartlett III of Kingston, NH. She is the cherished grandmother of Allen M. Pike & his wife, Elizabeth of Pittsburg, NH, Wayne S. Pike of Strafford, NH, Raymond F. Pike & his wife, Kerry of Raymond, NH, Benjamin T. Bartlett IV and his wife, Heather of Nottingham, NH, Kimberly A. Bartlett of Epping, NH & the late Deborah A.V. Bartlett. She is also lovingly survived by 11 Great grandchildren, one (1) Great great Grandson and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces & grandnephews. She was the wife of the late Harry S. Dares, who died in June of 1994. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Agnes’ name to a charity of one’s choice or to the WDH Seacoast Cancer Research Center, 789 Central Ave., Dover, NH 03820. Friends & family may call from 10-11:00am on Monday, July 2, 2012 with a memorial service to follow at 11:00 am at the Purdy Memorial Chapel, 2 Concord Road, Rte. 4, Lee, NH.
